Trek Marlin 5 gen 3 suspension

Hi, I've got a trek Marlin 5 gen 3 (size ML) and I want to replace the fork. Sadly I cant put a tapered fork on it because it was supposed to have a straight fork. Does anyone know how I could put on a tapered fork and what fork should I put on. (preferably fox or rockshox.

hey, i had the same problem as you until i got a frame with a tapered headtube, i never found a method to fit a tapered fork into a frame thats not designed for it. as far as brand new you can get a rockshox judy with a straight steerer tube, or manitou makes a couple forks with a straight tube as well, but if you don't mind an older fork fox made a few straight tube forks around the 2010's, like the vanilla rl or the float rl. and for a while i used knockoff branded forks from aliexpress and they are surprisingly good. hope this helps and i wish you luck in finding something
