@trafficones time zones bro, I'm Australian but yeah no fox 40s, there marzochi bomber 888 rc from 2014 with 38mm stanchions i think,still works great, the max is for the clamp you are right, and yes it is just fox 40s decals because I con't find mar ones

@militarym0nkey i didn't that is what the bike came with, got the bike for 500$ usd, it is easy to just say there fox 40s with the decals on them

@musty I wouldn’t recommend upgrading from a cheap mtb like a carreara strait to a full 160 mil santa cruz id just recommend upgrading to a nice hardtale to learn proper technique then upgrade to a nicer full sus than just hide riding mistakes with suspension
